Student Handbook

Last updated: 25 March 2026

Welcome

This Student Handbook sets expectations for learners enrolled in Ivy Training & Consulting UK programs. It helps protect students, instructors, and the business by clarifying conduct, learning environment standards, and key policies.

Enrollment and eligibility

  • Accurate information: provide correct contact details for communications and updates.
  • Prerequisites: follow the course prerequisites and recommended preparation.
  • Minimum age: learners should be at least 18 unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.

Course delivery and access

  • Schedules: cohort timing and session links/materials are shared by email.
  • Materials: slides, labs, templates, and recordings (if provided) are for enrolled learners only.
  • Support: we provide reasonable guidance and feedback, but outcomes depend on learner effort and practice.

Code of conduct

We maintain a respectful, inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, threats, doxxing, or disruptive behaviour is not allowed. We may remove participants from sessions or discontinue access where necessary to protect others.

Academic integrity

  • Original work: projects should reflect your own effort; collaboration rules will be stated per course.
  • No cheating: do not misrepresent work, credentials, or assessment results.

Intellectual property and permitted use

Course content (labs, slides, videos, documents, and templates) remains our intellectual property or that of our licensors. You may use materials for personal learning. You may not redistribute, resell, publish, or share materials outside your cohort without written permission.

Recording and confidentiality

  • Session recording: if sessions are recorded, we’ll inform participants. Do not record or share sessions without permission.
  • Confidential info: do not share other learners’ personal information. Keep cohort discussions professional.
  • Secrets: never share passwords, private keys, or confidential employer data in labs or chat.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Specific pricing and refund terms are provided at the time of booking/enrollment. If you need to reschedule due to exceptional circumstances, contact support@ivytrainingconsulting.com as early as possible and we’ll work with you where reasonable.

Accessibility

If you have accessibility needs, contact us at support@ivytrainingconsulting.com. We’ll try to provide reasonable adjustments.

Disclaimers

  • No guarantees: we do not guarantee job placement, salary outcomes, or certification results.
  • Third-party services: labs may use third-party platforms (e.g., cloud providers). Your use is subject to their terms.
  • Security: you are responsible for securing your own accounts and devices during coursework.
